Oman Daily Observer's website gets a 'facelift'

This week the government-sponsored English newspaper, Oman Daily Observer, launched a completely overhauled website. Check it out at: http://main.omanobserver.om/. What an improvement over the previous version. Currently, the Editor in Chief of the paper is Fahmi bin Khalid Al Harthi.

A few months ago, Times of Oman, a leading English newspaper in Oman, redesigned their website. However, the new site lacks the use of their well-recognized logo with a gazelle which I find to be inconsistent and detracting from the overall new design. Essa Al Zadjali started the Times of Oman in the 1970's and ran it until his passing earlier in 2013. Currently, one of his sons has taken over.
